About Me
My name is Nicola, and I am an Advanced Clinical Massage Therapist in Oakley near Basingstoke offering advanced clinical, fascia and sports massage, hot stone massage, pregnancy massage, aromatherapy facials, and Indian Head Massage. If you are looking for an experienced massage therapist who can help you manage your back, shoulder or neck pains (in fact, aches and pains in general), sports injury or post-operative recovery, or just lessen the stress of your day to day life, then I can help you.
My work as a massage therapist has led me to study advanced techniques for chronic pain treatment including trigger point therapy, myofascial release and deep tissue massage. I use advanced clinical and sports massage techniques to ease pain, aid healing, and encourage recovery from certain conditions, as well as general relaxation to help ease away the stresses of everyday life. Every treatment is customised to suit the client’s needs.
I first started to study massage in 2002, and quickly became fascinated by the way that different techniques can help soothe and heal the body. I’ve continued to study ever since, improving my understanding of human anatomy whilst learning new techniques and treatments from around the world; I was delighted when at the beginning of 2016, I graduated from my degree-level course in Advanced Clinical and Sports Remedial Massage, which made me one of only a hundred therapists in the country with this level of qualification. I studied this at
the Jing Institute of Advanced Massage Training, the most highly respected clinical massage training institute in the UK.
Since starting my massage career, I have worked in a 5 Star spa, managed a successful salon, and taught massage at a Further Education College. In 2012 I started my own massage business at my practice in Oakley, which has gone from strength to strength, with regular clients visiting me from Oakley, Basingstoke, Overton, Odiham and Hook, and as far afield as Winchester and Southampton.
